This policy applies to everyone who uses xpanded.uk — members, cam hosts and phone chat hosts. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and, for hosts, our Creator Terms.
It exists because we are legally required to have one, and because the payment card schemes require documented content standards for adult merchants. It also exists because it is the right way to run this kind of platform.
1. Content that is never permitted
The following is prohibited without exception. Breach means immediate permanent removal, forfeiture of the account, and a report to law enforcement where an offence may have been committed.
1.1 Anything involving under-18s
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18
- Adults presenting, dressing or role-playing as minors in a sexual context
- Drawn, animated, computer-generated or AI-generated sexual depictions of minors
- Any reference to, request for, or discussion of sexual activity with a minor
- Sexualised images of real children, however obtained or altered
We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the Internet Watch Foundation and to law enforcement, preserve evidence, and cooperate fully with investigations. There is no appeal against removal on this ground.
1.2 Non-consensual content
- Intimate images or recordings shared without the consent of the person shown
- Content created or altered to appear to show a real person without their consent, including deepfakes
- Sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person who has not consented
- Recording, screenshotting or capturing any performance
- Sexual activity that involves, implies or simulates lack of consent, including rape, coercion, blackmail, incapacity through drink or drugs, and physical restraint against a participant's will
Sharing intimate images without consent is a criminal offence in the UK under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 as amended, and creating or sharing purported intimate images without consent is now separately an offence. We treat these reports as urgent — see the Complaints, Reporting and Takedown Policy.
1.3 Extreme content
Under section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 and our own standards, the following are prohibited whether real or simulated:
- Infliction of pain or physical harm, including sadism, masochism, strangulation, asphyxiation, burning, bruising, injury or torture. Mild consensual activity that causes no lasting harm, such as light spanking, is permitted
- Visible blood, urine or faeces
- Cutting the body, or penetration by any object likely to cause harm or associated with violence — needles, knives, pins, heavy tools
- Content threatening or appearing to threaten a person's life
- Content that results in or appears likely to result in serious injury to anus, breasts or genitals
1.4 Other prohibited content
- Bestiality or any sexual activity involving an animal
- Necrophilia
- Incest, or role-play presented as incest between people presented as closely related
- Prostitution, pimping, escorting, or arranging sexual services offline
- Trafficking, or any indication that a person is being coerced or controlled
- Drug use or drug references, real or simulated
- Weapons used in a sexual context
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation
- Content promoting suicide, self-harm or eating disorders
- Terrorist content or material supporting a proscribed organisation
2. Behaviour that is not permitted
2.1 Toward hosts
- Harassment, threats, intimidation or abuse
- Racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise discriminatory language
- Requests for prohibited content, including requests presented as jokes or hypotheticals
- Attempting to find out a host's real name, address, workplace or other personal details
- Asking a host for personal contact details, or offering yours
- Attempting to arrange to meet a host
- Pressuring a host to continue after they have said no or ended a session
- Contacting a host outside the platform
Hosts can end a session at any time for any reason. If a host ends a session because of your behaviour, you will not be refunded and your account may be restricted.
2.2 Toward other users
- Harassment or abuse
- Sharing another user's personal information
- Impersonating another user, a host, or our staff
- Spam, advertising, affiliate links or commercial solicitation
2.3 Toward the platform
- Attempting unauthorised access to any part of the Services or our systems
- Bots, scrapers, crawlers or automated tools
- Circumventing age assurance, geo-restrictions, payment controls or moderation
- Chargeback abuse, or using stolen or unauthorised payment details
- Manipulating promotions, contests or credit awards
- Uploading malware
- Disrupting service for other users
3. Additional rules for hosts
These apply to cam hosts and phone chat hosts in addition to everything above. Full detail is in the Creator Terms.
- You must be 18 or over and have completed identity and age verification with us before broadcasting or taking calls
- Everyone appearing in your content or on your stream must be 18 or over, verified by us, and have given written consent. No exceptions, including partners
- You must not broadcast anyone who has not consented, including people in the background
- You must not solicit or arrange offline meetings or sexual services
- You must not direct users to payment methods outside the platform
- You must not misrepresent who you are in a way that would mislead a user about the nature of the service
- You must not appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs while broadcasting
- You must comply with any content restriction we notify you of, including restrictions required by payment providers
4. How we enforce this
We use automated tools and human review. We review content before publication where required by our payment providers, and we monitor live content.
Depending on severity and history, we may:
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| Warning | Minor first breach |
| Content removal | Content breaches this policy |
| Feature restriction | Repeated minor breaches |
| Temporary suspension | Serious breach, or repeated breaches after warning |
| Permanent closure | Severe breach, or persistent breaches |
| Payment withheld pending investigation (hosts) | Suspected fraud or serious breach |
| Report to law enforcement | Suspected criminal offence |
We keep records of enforcement decisions for three years.
5. If we take action against you
We will tell you what we did, why, which part of this policy applies, and how to appeal — unless telling you would prejudice a criminal investigation or breach a legal duty.
You can appeal through the process in our Complaints, Reporting and Takedown Policy. EU users also have access to out-of-court dispute settlement under the Digital Services Act.
There is no appeal against removal of child sexual abuse material.
6. Reporting a breach
Report anything that breaches this policy at toc@virtualtalk.co.uk.
For urgent reports — child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate images, credible threats to life, or indications that someone is being coerced — use toc@virtualtalk.co.uk. We aim to action these within 24 hours.
